- Noms of Hong Kong: Tartine -

HELLO!! It’s been so long since I’ve written a blog post. I just kept procrastinating, but anyways, here I am! Back with one of my favourite things to write about, restaurant reviews because it gives me an excuse to eat and take pictures without judgment. :)

Concept of ‘Tartine’: No frills, no fuss. It uses the highest quality ingredients accompanied with culinary skills to prepare your food. With French influences and a menu composed by the Michelin Starred Chef, Philippe Orricco, it’s healthy, authentic and focuses on simplicity over abundance. Alongside the white and blue themed décor and comical food art, it’s stunning. Not to mention, it has an outdoor terrace that is an absolute must for sunny days.

Greenpea & Gazpacho and Quinoa Salad

Greenpea & Gazpacho: Delicious. It’s light and the taste of the pea is quite strong (a must for pea fans!). Perfect for summer. 8/10

Quinoa Salad: Good, but nothing special. I would recommend trying something else, like the Greenpea & Gazpacho, unless your really craving quinoa. 6.5/10

Ratatouille, Tomato and Mozzarella, and Lobster &Homemade Bechamel Tartines

Ratatouille Tartine: It comes with poached eggs that were poached perfectly when I had it. The flavours were good but the bread was quite hard, apart from that, delicious. It’s also a good vegetarian option. 7/10

Tomato and Mozzarella Tartine: A classic combo, for those wanting to go back to simplicity ;). 7/10

Lobster & Homemade Béchamel: Comes with lobster bisque, definitely more unique and probably one of the best combinations. Flavour was on point 8.5/10

Pop by, it’s definitely worth trying, and I love the cozy, relaxing atmosphere, perfect if you’re having a bit of a tough day at work.
