Guiltless desserts? Um yes. It’s real. I know you can make guiltless desserts at home but you may not always have the time to make it. We have a solution to this problem now! The Cakery made its debut on April 9th and Shirley Kwok caters to the health conscious individuals with a sweet tooth. It also offers an assortment of gluten free, wheat free and dairy free goods and the goods are made using natural, premium organic ingredients. AND the best part? Just because it’s healthy doesn’t mean the taste is comprised. It tastes just as delicious and sweet as any other cupcakes!
I opted for their bite sized cupcakes because I wanted to try more flavours and didn’t have enough space to eat full size cupcakes. I got their Monkey Business Cupcake, Sunflower cupcake, Double Date cupcake, and East Meets West Cupcake.

Monkey Business Cupcake (foreground) – Banana cupcake with cream cheese frosting (low fat / sugar free). This was delicious! The cream cheese with the banana was perfect. The cupcake was so moist from ripe banana and it was sweet as well! Would highly recommend this if you’re looking for a delicious guilt free dessert.

Monkey Business Cupcake
East Meets West Cupcake – Gojiberry chocolate cupcake topped with chocolate frosting and pink Himalayan salt (low fat / sugar free). This is perfect for the chocolate lovers! The taste of the chocolate is really rich and the frosting is really creamy. The touch of pink Himalayan salt helps brings out the sweetness a lot perfect. The perfect touch to any dessert.

East Meets West Cupcake
Sunflower Cupcake – Pumpkin cupcake with fresh pumpkin puree frosting (low fat / sugar free). This is the definition of baking with natural ingredients! Absolutely loved this, the taste of the pumpkin isn’t too strong and it was the perfect sweetness! I love knowing these goods are free from refined sugar. The cupcake was also really moist and the presentation is so adorable! This was probably my favourite cupcake from the 4!

Sunflower Cupcake
Double Date Cupcake - Red Date Cupcake with red date paste frosting (low fat/sugar -free). The taste of the date was quite prominent, perfect for those date lovers! But this was slightly too sweet for me. But i love how creative the idea is. I didn't manage to get a close up picture of this.
