It may not be that cold in Hong Kong anymore but it doesn’t mean you can’t warm up yourself with a nice clay pot rice on a chiller night.
Unfortunately there isn’t a lot of vegetarian options in this shop and in many local restaurants. But they did have this vegetable pot with vermicelli (none for the clay pot rice though)
I absolutely loved this dish. The soup was so flavourful and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The entire dish was very vernacular, would highly recommend this to someone visiting Hong Kong and is also vegetarian. This is perfect for a chilly evening! 8.5/10
We also opted for a chicken and eel clay pot rice. The chicken and eel was really smooth and the rice wasn’t too moist which meant crispy rice at the bottom (yess!). 7.5/10
Typically the line is quite long but its filled with locals, which is always a good sign when you’re looking for a good place to eat. Definitely recommend this place!
